Selling On Materia Market

Selling on Materia Market is easy - it's free to list as many items as you'd like. When an item sells you simply mail it to the buyer and wait for their approval.

The only fee we charge is 20% of the listing price.

    List It

    Choose the type of item you want to list and add all the info you can about it so buyers know exactly what they are getting.

    Ship It

    When your item sells, print out the shipping label we provided and slap it on a box with your item inside. Drop it off with the carrier.

  3. 3.

    Get Paid

    When the buyer receives your item, they approve it and we pay you directly minus our 20% platform fee.

What does Materia Market cost?

Materia Market is free to download and use. If you are buying items you simply pay the cost of the item plus shipping.

If you are selling items, listings are free. When your item sells and is approved by the buyer we will award you 80% of the selling price.

In other words - Materia Market takes 20% cut of all items sold on the platform. That is the only fee we charge!

What items can I sell?

Materia Market currently allows the sale of fabric and yarn and supports all styles, lengths, and weights of these items.

We will continue to add more item categories over time based on what the community would like to see most.

How does shipping work?

We use USPS to ship items and offer the use of both custom boxes and USPS Flate Rate boxes.

When you list an item you can choose which box type to use that works best for shipping your item.
